Limestone is a
sedimentary rock derived from the fossil
deposits of marine animals and composed mainly
of calcium carbonate, usually in the form of
calcite or aragonite. Limestone is generally
less expensive than other cladding stones, and
is widely used as a building stone because it is
readily available, easy to work with and gives a
dignified appearance to a building.
It is the most common
material used in the art deco and neo-gothic
styles and is great for exterior slabs or tiles
as well as interior spaces where you want an
outdoorsy feeling.
